Lola the Green Aardvark, situated close to the Tropenmuseum, Artis zoo, and the famous Dapper Market in the center of Amsterdam’s East quarter.
Lola the Green Aardvark is a local neighbourhood cafe-bar with a large outside terrace overlooking the Singel canal.
Our aim is to create a contemporary Amsterdam experience for open-minded people, attitude free, with a unique home from home feeling.
A home for like-minded people, a place to meet old friends and make new ones.
The coffee is roasted locally from Pelican Rouge, one of the best coffee roasters in the Netherlands. We serve various fair trade teas as well as all kinds of special herbal teas from Iran.
Our beers consist of a selection of locally and European brewed beer, including popular Amsterdam craft pilsners. Wines that are specially selected for Lola for every occasion. Organic wines play an important role in this selection.
Not to forget the well-known and famous cocktails (Getto Food and Drinks) that are made with a lot of love. In addition, a selection of “home-infused” spirits that add a completely new and natural flavour.
Our menu contains various homemade bites from hot sandwiches to hot snacks that are made with love. We also serve a delicious cheese platter selected by our artisan cheese farmer. In addition, home-made cakes will be part of a daily changing offer.
The products are seasonal and are purchased on the local market as much as possible. Special attention is paid to the zero waste principle and trying to be Co2 neutral as much as possible.

Lola the Green Aardvark loves nature. Green and fabulous Lola’s magical garden is a new oasis in the wonderful city of Amsterdam. A true place to chill and take in the many colourful scented flowers and shrubs.
We encourage the sound of singing birds and the natural habitat of butterfly’s and bees. In the winter Lola’s terrace sparkles with seasonal cheer serving hot mulled wine and fresh roasted chestnuts. A perfect combination to meet old friends old and new ones.
Our terrace seats up to 85 guests and is also available for private receptions or events.
